位荀,男,河南项城人,博士,副研究员。2009年本科毕业于中国地质大学(武汉)地质学理科基地班,获学士学位。2014年研究生毕业于中国科学院广州地球化学研究所矿物学、岩石学、矿床学专业,获博士学位。2011年8月-2012年8月,赴澳大利亚昆士兰大学交流访问。2014年8月-2016年12月,在中国科学院海洋研究所从事博士后研究。2016年12月-2018年7月,任海洋科学与技术国家实验室海洋地质过程与环境功能实验室短期研究科学家。2018年8月进入自然资源部第一海洋研究所,任助理研究员,2020年12月起任副研究员。研究方向包括洋中脊玄武岩和西太平洋海山成因以及塔里木大火成岩省玄武岩和层状侵入体成岩成矿作用。
